Renko Hybrid Chart Description

Available only on the Ninja Trader platform, this chart type was built specifically for both automated trading and hands on discretionary trading.

RenkoHybrid has the responsiveness of a smaller bar size Renko Chart, with the noise filtering capacity of a larger bar size Renko Chart.

Value settings are set to the larger bar size value and are restricted to even numbers to ensure mathematical accurate.  An odd number would result in split ticks on the smaller bar size causing NT to round off numbers and lose accuracy.

Secondary Series Information ( Ninjatrader 7 Only)

This product can now be used as a secondary chart series in Indicators and Strategies.

BackTesting:

While testing with real time data and market replay data is most accurate and preferred. If you must back-test,

For RenkoHybrid 2.0 – adding slippage of  one is preferred for realistic results.

For prior versions  – adding slippage of  1/2 the bar height setting plus one is required for realistic results.
